Field Trips

The Ag Museum is the perfect place to bring groups for an educational and memorable experience. The Heritage Center Gallery and Small Town, Mississippi provide visitors with a  unique learning environment. Mississippi’s rich agricultural history is told through the exhibits and artifacts on display.

Self-Guided Tours

All Museum exhibits are self-guided. Information about each exhibit is displayed. A map of the outside grounds is available with a brief description on the back. A tour guide is available upon request with advance notice.

Summer Programs

Summer Day Camp: Ages 6-8

Campers will experience and have a better understanding of where food comes from and what it takes to put food on the table.

Cost: $150 (non-member) and $120 (member) LUNCH IS INCLUDED

Dates: Monday – Thursday June 24-27, 2024

Time: 8 am  – 3 pm

Folk Art Fridays at the Ag Museum: Ages 9 and up

Participants must register by the Friday prior to the class they wish to join. For each class, participants will be provided with the supplies necessary, a packet of information, and personal instructions to complete a folk arts project from start to finish. At the end, each participant will be able to take their project home.

Cost: $25 per class/participant or $80 for all four weeks

• July 12, 2024: Making a Sewing Kit
• July 19, 2024: Making Recycled Paper
• July 26, 2024: Painted Floor Cloth
